My firm's mission is to defend and enhance the autonomy of my older clients and, in appropriate circumstances, to assist families, caregivers and professionals who serve and represent this clientele.

My mission also embraces an important social objective of fostering Canadian research and advocacy on legal and ethical issues affecting older persons, including such social policy issues as age discrimination, exploitation and abuse, improving understanding and use of powers of attorney, the development of excellence in housing, long-term care, economic security, adult protection legislation, the ethics of health care and health care decision-making and access to legal services for older persons.
